In 2024, Away celebrated the launch of its limited edition Cosmic Collection with an interstellar roller skating party at Xanadu Roller Arts in Brooklyn. Inspired by the Supernova Silver and Galaxy Blue colorways, the playful cocktail event invited press and friends of the brand into a nostalgic, space themed experience centered around curiosity, discovery, and travel.

Guests entered the rink through a series of installations featuring the new Cosmic Collection suitcases, highlighting the metallic finishes and celestial palette of the release. Throughout the evening, attendees skated beneath cosmic lighting and immersive visuals while exploring interactive moments designed to reflect the spirit of the collection.

A glitter customization bar invited guests to personalize their own travel cases, while classic roller rink fare and cocktails were served throughout the night, creating a playful balance of retro nostalgia and modern brand storytelling. The event transformed the rink into a vibrant celebration of movement, exploration, and the excitement of discovering new worlds through travel.
