In 2025, A24 celebrated the premiere of Celine Song’s film Materialists with a playful, wedding inspired reception at The Plaza. Care of Chan led creative production for the event, overseeing décor, food styling, furniture rentals, and custom photo and culinary moments.

Design elements drew from the film’s themes and visual language, reimagining classic wedding iconography with a heightened sense of whimsy and spectacle. The result was a celebratory reception that blended cinematic storytelling with the charm and extravagance of a wedding inspired celebration.
